Our Mission
North Asheville Christian School (NACS) is a private, independent Christian School. NACS is an extension and ministry of North Asheville Baptist Church and is governed by the North Asheville Christian School Board.
The mission of NACS is to educate and develop the whole person for the glory of God (1 Thes. 5:23). School policies are built upon Biblical principles and we are singularly committed to God's Word as the foundation for our total curriculum. NACS offers students rigorous academic instruction from a Biblical perspective (John 17:17; Tim. 3:16).
NACS addresses educational practices from a Christian perspective by training our students to begin to understand themselves and the world around them, from a Christian world view (Psalm 24:1). Students are provided with a challenging academic atmosphere while given the opportunity to build positive relationships with other students and faculty. The goal is to facilitate the development of the child academically, physically, socially and spiritually (1 Cor. 10:31).
The school employs faculty and administrators who are committed to Christ and serve as Christian role models (1 Tim. 4:12; Titus 2:7). They have strong academic backgrounds and exhibit spiritual maturity.
The ultimate purpose of North Asheville Christian School is to partner with families to help develop each students potential for excellence (Deut. 6:5-9), thereby laying a foundation for both a strong Christian character and a successful academic future.
